Sponsor a Tree and Support WRC

The 11th Annual WRC Tree Planting will be on Saturday, March 12th at Shelby Farms Park. Volunteers will plant 330 one-inch caliper Eastern Redbud trees along Walnut Grove Road. The cost of each of these trees is roughly $15. We are asking for your help by considering to sponsor the cost of a tree (or many trees), so that more funds can go to future programs and service projects at the Wolf River Conservancy. Special Tax-free IRA Gifts … Charitable Rollover Extended

For those aged 70½ or older, it is once again possible to make tax-favored charitable gifts from traditional and Roth IRA accounts. On December 18, the President signed into law legislation that retroactively extends the charitable IRA rollover for 2015 and makes this provision permanent for future years. 10th Annual Wolf River Conservancy Tree Planting A Success

The Wolf River Conservancy hosted our 10th Annual Tree Planting on Saturday March 28th at Shelby Farms Park. Over 350 volunteers came out and braved the not-so spring like temperature to plant over 10,000 trees that morning.
