Project WET Workshops

Wolf River Conservancy will be offering a two-part Project WET Workshop on July 22-23, 2020, to a small group of participants, in keeping with social distancing recommendations.  Part 1 will be conducted remotely via Zoom, and Part 2 will take place outdoors at Memphis Botanic Garden.  Thanks to our sponsors, Buckman and the Crawford-Howard Private Foundation, we are able to offer the workshop at no cost to participants.

Pre-registration is required for attendance; both 3 hr. sessions must be completed to receive a book and a certificate.

Since 1984, Project WET has been developing fun, hands-on, award-winning activities for teachers to use in the classroom and outdoors. This workshop includes the Project WET Curriculum and Activity Guide 2.0, which gives educators engaging tools for integrating water education into many subjects. We will sample a variety of these activities as well as learn about the Wolf River watershed, and local and global water issues.  In addition to a copy of the Project WET Curriculum and Activity Guide 2.0, participants will receive a signed certificate of attendance at the end of the day. Though this workshop is designed for local educators, it is open to anyone who is interested in attending!

Pre-registration is required for attendance.
