FedEx Volunteers Improve Outdoor Classrooms at Two Schools

A new shade structure over the benches at Collierville High School's outdoor classroom was one of several projects taken on by a large group of FedEx volunteers on Earth Day, April 22.  WRC staff assisted Town of Collierville in leading projects at both Collierville High School and Schilling Farms Middle School, including new planting beds, privet clearing, planting of native plants, building and installing nest boxes, installing rain barrels, and constructing both the pergola over the benches and a backdrop for the stage at CHS. Our thanks to FedEx as always for their efforts on behalf of the Wolf River Watershed and our young people!
