Mushroom Meander with Hayden Johnson
Meander along the Wolf River Greenway and learn more about Mycology and local species of mushrooms! This walk takes place at the newest section of the Wolf River Greenway trail, featuring a 270' cable stayed suspension bridge and raised boardwalk through the Lucius Burch State Natural Area. This walk will focus on mushrooms and other native plants and wildlife along the Wolf River Greenway. Nature Walks will be held weekends in the spring and fall. Walks last for approximately one hour maximum, begin at 9:00am, and will be held at two separate Greenway locations, so please pay attention to the location you are signing up for.
How
Our Educational Guides will begin classes, every Saturday at 9:00 am. We encourage you to bring water and sunscreen and any other items that will make you comfortable. All ages are welcome. Portable restrooms will be on site. Walks will be on the paved Greenway trail, unless participants specify otherwise. The Wolf River Greenway trail is ADA accessible in all locations.
