Frog Chorus Walk

Join us for our annual Frog Chorus Walk at Mineral Slough Boardwalk near LaGrange, TN, in Fayette County, to listen to and look for the courting frogs of Ghost River State Natural Area.  This experience also provides an opportunity to see the unique flash pattern of the Cypress Firefly, and perhaps other creatures active after dark.  Please bring a flashlight and wear clothes and shoes appropriate for the weather (closed-toed shoes and long pants are recommended). We also suggest bringing insect repellent, water, and any other supplies. This is a very easygoing activity, and you should feel free to leave whenever you like; the group leader will stay as late as 10pm.
