Greg Pate-Leaving a Forest Legacy: How to Begin
Leaving a legacy is one of the top reasons that family forest owners give for owning property. Similarly, the people who volunteer for our tree planting and habitat restoration projects may be motivated by their impact on future generations. What kind of forest legacy do you wish to leave to your family? To the future world? What steps can you take in the management of your woodlands today to begin leaving your legacy? Greg Pate, with Four W Forestry Group and the Tennessee Forestry Association, will discuss forest management and legacy building, including programs such as the White Oak Initiative.
Greg is a Registered Forester in Alabama. He has been practicing forestry in the south for 40 years.
