Project WET Water Workshop
Project WET (Water Education Today) is an interdisciplinary water education program featuring classroom-proven, hands-on learning activities that make water topics come alive! Participants receive a copy of The Project WET 2.0 Curriculum and Activity Guide, with 64 multidisciplinary activities correlated to the Common Core and Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS); access to the Project WET portal, an online resource where educators can access more materials, and download copy pages and correlations for each activity; a sampling of Project WET activities and a discussion of local water issues during the workshop, in addition to lunch! This 6-hr. workshop sponsored by Clean Memphis is facilitated by Cathy Justis of the Wolf River Conservancy and is provided cost free to participants. Pre-registration is required for attendance.
