Project WET Workshop
Project WET (Water Education Today) is an interdisciplinary water education program featuring classroom-proven, hands-on learning activities that make water topics come alive! Participants receive a copy of The Project WET 2.0 Curriculum and Activity Guide, with 64 multidisciplinary activities correlated to the Common Core and Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS); access to the Project WET portal, an online resource where educators can access more materials, and download copy pages and correlations for each activity; a sampling of Project WET activities and a discussion of local water issues during the workshop, in addition to lunch!
This 6-hour workshop is provided cost-free to participants thanks to our sponsors: Buckman and Crawford-Howard Family Foundation.
Pre-registration is required for attendance at this link.
Our workshop will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesday, November 21, 2023, at Memphis Botanic Garden (Sara's Place), 750 Cherry Rd., Memphis, TN. Sara's Place is a short walk from the Botanic Garden's visitor center.
