Wolf River Stream Stroll
Join us for wading and dip-netting at Bateman Bridge, a fun and relaxing way to take a break from the heat and learn more about the beauty and biodiversity of the Wolf River. We will be netting up small aquatic creatures for all to see before returning them to the water. This event is family-friendly and appropriate for all ages.
Please wear sturdy, well-fitted sneakers or water shoes (not Crocs or flip-flops, which can easily slip off your feet and float downstream). Life jackets are recommended for very young children, especially; since the bottom of the river is uneven with several deeper spots. An assortment of nets will be provided, but feel free to bring your own.
