Inaugural Wolf River 5K A Big Success

Over 700 runners participated in the inaugural Wolf River 5K by Start2Finish Event Management on Saturday, January 20th. The Wolf River Conservancy was the beneficiary of the 5K, which was part of the Run the 901 Race Series, a training program for the Germantown Half Marathon. Greenway Soirée - A Night to Remember

The Greenway Soirée was a magical and successful evening for the Conservancy with great silent and live auction items, a delicious dinner from Paradox Catering & Consulting, entertainment from the Earnestine & Hazel's Band, and most importantly, a record-breaking $125,000+ raised to support our mission to protect the Wolf River and its watershed. Cycle the Greenway Surpasses Fundraising Mark

The 11th Annual Cycle the Greenway, presented by Orion Federal Credit Union, was a huge success, raising over $45,000 for the Conservancy. Sell-Out Crowd at Source to Sea Film

Special Tax-free IRA Gifts … Charitable Rollover Extended

For those aged 70½ or older, it is once again possible to make tax-favored charitable gifts from traditional and Roth IRA accounts. On December 18, the President signed into law legislation that retroactively extends the charitable IRA rollover for 2015 and makes this provision permanent for future years. Record-Breaking Year for WRC's Cycle the Greenway

The Wolf River Conservancy's Cycle the Greenway was a huge success. With over 120 cyclists and six teams, the 2015 event raised a record-breaking $35,000 for the organization and the Wolf River Greenway. 10th Annual Wolf River Conservancy Tree Planting A Success

The Wolf River Conservancy hosted our 10th Annual Tree Planting on Saturday March 28th at Shelby Farms Park. Over 350 volunteers came out and braved the not-so spring like temperature to plant over 10,000 trees that morning.
