For every Ghost River beer bought, $1 will be donated to the Wolf River Conservancy, which protects and preserves the Wolf River and its watershed. So bring your friends, drink some beer, and celebrate the efforts being made to protect our Memphis water.
Ghost River Brewing Co. gets its name from a section of the Wolf River, called Ghost River, where the brewery also gets its water. Memphis water is naturally filtered through a sand aquifer, which in turn yields some of the best water in the country. Attendees will be able to learn more about Wolf River Conservancy’s mission, its aquifer conservation efforts, and will have the opportunity to purchase merchandise to support the Conservancy.
Ghost River Brewing Co. donates $1 of each barrel brewed to the Wolf River Conservancy. Keep an eye for news on their new taproom set to open soon.
Drink A Beer, Save a River happens the second Tuesday of every month with various locations across the city. Their next event is August 9th at Hammer & Ale. Next month’s happy hour will be at Local on the Square on September 13th.
