Thank You to International Paper, Presenting Sponsor of the Annual Tree Planting Event!

International Paper, the presenting sponsor of our Annual Tree Planting event, is a long time supporter of the Wolf River Conservancy.  The company works hard to promote sustainability both locally and globally, and its employees have provided countless hours of volunteer work to the Conservancy to plant thousands of trees, clean up trash, and lend a hand with many other service activities.  The Conservancy applauds International Paper’s vision to be “among the most successful, sustainable, and responsible companies in the world.”

“Partnering with the Wolf River Conservancy is just one way International Paper is addressing critical needs in our hometown and demonstrating our commitment to stewardship,” says James McDonald, Director of Global Citizenship for International Paper.  “As one of the world’s leading producers of renewable, fiber-based packaging, pulp and paper, we are committed to improving our planet and to investing in people, most notably by mobilizing our people, products and resources to address critical needs in the communities where we live and work.”

Through International Paper's generous support we are able to deliver on our mission of protection and enhancement of the Wolf River and its watershed as a sustainable natural resource.  Thank you, IP!
