Join Us for the Wolf River Watershed Expo!

Wolf River Conservancy is partnering with Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation (TDEC) and St. George's Independent School (SGIS) in Collierville to launch a new event, the Wolf River Watershed Expo on Thurs., April 21st from 5-7pm and Sat., April 23rd from 9am-12pm.

The Thursday evening expo will take place in the main building at the SGIS Collierville campus at 1880 Wolf River Blvd.  In addition to presentations by Joellyn Brazille of TDEC and WRC Director Keith Cole, representatives from many different water resource and environmental agencies and groups will staff information tables.  This is a great opportunity to learn more about those responsible for our water and environmental quality and to have your questions answered. For information and updates for the April 21st Expo, please follow this link.

On Saturday morning, April 23rd, we will hold a Wolf River Watershed Expo Family Day on the beautiful SGIS campus which is right on the banks of the Wolf River.  Families and individuals of all ages are welcome to come out to learn about the Wolf River Watershed by participating in a variety of fun activities such as paddling on one of the SGIS lakes with our WRC River Guides, hiking on a trail down to the Wolf River, and learning how to monitor water quality.  This is your chance to visit a unique and interesting section of the Wolf River and its floodplain. For information and updates for the April 23rd Family Day, please use this link.

Everyone is welcome to come out to either or both events!  An RSVP is requested to help us in planning for the Expo - thank you!
