A MESSAGE FROM THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Dear Wolf River Conservancy Partner:

I am especially proud of the Wolf River Conservancy program staff for their abilities and dedication in offering such a diverse array of events, projects and activities to our community. If you look at our activity calendar you will see that in May through November 12th  - the date of our premier fundraising event the Greenway Soiree - we have a total of twenty-seven activities planned.

Our activities provide something for everyone and for all ages such as…

  • Cycle the Greenway bike ride and fundraiser.
  • WRC member-exclusive First Saturday Paddle Trips led by WRC Volunteer River Guides, usually offering a different river section each month.
  • The return of the WRC Summer Lecture Series from June through September, in collaboration with the Memphis Botanic Gardens and with generous financial support from Buckman.
  • A Stream Stroll and a Frog Chorus Walk ideal for everyone in the family.
  • A variety of service projects to help keep our river clean and navigable.

All of these activities are designed to remind everyone of the importance of our mission in protecting the Wolf River watershed. We invite you to participate in one of our upcoming events and show your support for the Wolf River Conservancy!  Thank you.

Keith Cole
Executive Director
