About Us Events & Activities Conservation Education Greenway Get Involved

Dear Wolf River Conservancy friends,

For the Wolf River Conservancy, the advent of November brings our premier fundraising event:  the Greenway Soirée.  Last year’s event was a sell-out, and as of this writing we have fewer than 20 tickets remaining for sale. If you would like to attend this year’s event please go to to learn more about the details and to purchase your tickets now.

I would like to acknowledge the Presenting Sponsor for our 2018 Greenway Soirée – our good friends at International Paper.  Not only has International Paper supported the Wolf River Conservancy through its sponsorship of our event, it has also proven to be a committed partner and supporter  in other ways:

  • International Paper volunteers have participated in a variety of service projects with us this year including our Annual Tree Planting, the Kennedy Park Wolf River Greenway Grand Opening, and clean up paddle trips on the Wolf River.
  • International Paper sponsors the annual IP EcoChallenge field trip for two groups of elementary school students;
  • International Paper has made a sizeable contribution to the build-out of the Wolf River Greenway trail (click here to learn more).

We are also very grateful for the support of ALL of our 2018 Greenway Soirée sponsors!  To see a complete list, please go to

Finally, a reminder that all financial gifts from now to Dec. 31st will be matched $1 for $1 up to $100,000, thanks to the generosity of Scott and Kay Dawson. Double your financial impact by visiting our Giving Page.

The Wolf River Conservancy is fortunate to have community-wide support from individual donors, foundations, and corporations, and we understand we must earn this support each day.

Thanks to everyone for your continued support of our work!

Keith Cole
Executive Director
