Please Welcome Stewardship Associate Roman Rushing

Roman Rushing has been working with Wolf River Conservancy since March, first as intern, and more recently as a Stewardship Associate, tackling any task at hand.  He has fenced off young saplings to protect them from beavers, assisted with the Wolf River Restoration Series service projects in the spring, helped kids learn to kayak at Epping Way, picked up trash along the Wolf River, and helped to clean out a very hot storage unit - just to name a few of the things he's done.  Roman is working to complete a degree in geology. He currently divides his time between T.O Fuller State Park, and Wolf River Conservancy. Says Roman, "I have looked forward to working with the Conservancy since I was in high school. The Wolf River Conservancy has given me many learning opportunities from geographic information systems to measuring champion trees."  We're very glad to have him working with us!
