Wolf River Greenway Community Programming

Our Greenway Community Programming consists of free, seasonal, recreational, and educational programs that Memphians can enjoy along select segments of the Wolf River Greenway.

The Wolf River Greenway, upon completion, will connect 22 Memphis neighborhoods with over 853 acres of green space along the 26-mile trail.  Our classes and educational walks are free and open to the public and are free of any financial barriers.  All equipment necessary will be provided to participants during classes.  The Wolf River Greenway is a public/private partnership between Wolf River Conservancy, the City of Memphis Parks and Neighborhoods Division and Shelby County Government.  Our free nature programs, exercise programs, and free kayaking programs along the Wolf River and Wolf River Greenway offer unique opportunities for family, group, and individual experiences.

Spring 2023 Programming begins April 15th!

Our community programming has returned!  We are back with our popular free programs, better with your feedback!  Users stated the heat of the summer was definitely not enjoyable, so we have split our season into two sessions - spring and fall!  We have additionally added more restrooms, classes, and even some programs on Sundays!  We hope to see you out on the Wolf River Greenway!
