On the Greenway: Progress on Phase 10A
Phase 10A of the Wolf River Greenway has recently been re-started! Phase 10A is approximately 1.0-mile in length and will extend from the eastern side of the Wolf River Conservancy’s Epping Way property out to and along James Road to the intersection with Jackson Ave.
This section of the Greenway is being funded by HUD through a Disaster Resilience Grant obtained by Shelby County. The project is being administered locally by the Memphis and Shelby County Office of Sustainability and Resilience.
Not only will this section of the Wolf River Greenway improve access to the Epping Way property, but it will also provide a safer passage for pedestrians and cyclists along James Road. We anticipate completion of this section of the Greenway in 2024!
On the Greenway: Thank You, Bioventus Volunteers! Volunteers from Bioventus joined Conservancy staff on November 12 to plant trees at the Epping Way section of the Wolf River Greenway.
