Please Welcome New Conservancy Staff Member, Ria Shatswell

Ria Shatswell, Land Stewardship Associate, joins the Conservancy to assist in our conservation, restoration, and volunteer management efforts throughout the Wolf River watershed.  Her work addresses our core mission of land conservation and will enable the Wolf River Conservancy to accomplish more strategic goals.  We are so glad to welcome Ria into the Wolf River team to protect and enhance the lands that serve us through recreation, aquifer recharge, and wildlife habitat.

Ria is a native Memphian who is currently pursuing a degree in Parks and Recreational Management at Northern Arizona University. She has always been a wildlife and outdoor enthusiast and aspires to one day work for the National Park Service. Prior to her role with the Conservancy, she worked in the outdoor recreation industry. During her time in that field, she gained an even greater appreciation for the importance of protecting and maintaining natural resources and habitat.
