Please join us in welcoming Erin Jennings to the Wolf River Conservancy!

Erin is the new Outreach Manager at The Wolf River Conservancy, joining the organization in the fall of 2024 and bringing with her a background in outdoor recreation, higher education, non-profit leadership and community engagement.

Prior to joining the Conservancy, Erin enjoyed a storied career in outdoor recreation as a seasoned river guide and trip leader on southeastern whitewater for USA Raft and Endless River Adventures, Inc. She has worked in higher education as an administrator and educator for The University of Memphis and The University of Tennessee Health Science Center, mentoring students and developing outdoor recreation opportunities and stewardship initiatives for diverse metropolitan campus communities. Erin has a history of non-profit work on a regional and national level, including work for The Society for Photographic Education and Appalachian-based non-profit Needmore Outdoors.  She enjoys using her unique skill set to foster community engagement and stewardship to benefit local communities and conservation initiatives.

Erin’s relationship with the Wolf River Conservancy began with her effort to partner university campus communities with the Conservancy to offer local stewardship and outdoor recreation opportunities in the Wolf River watershed. After years of partnership, Erin is pleased to formally join the Wolf River Conservancy to further its mission of protecting and enhancing the Wolf River and its watershed as a sustainable natural resource.

Erin holds a BA in Communications, an MA in Political Science, and a Master of Fine Arts in Photography.
