Our Fall Fest Concludes Our Discover the Greenway Fall Series
The Wolf River Conservancy Discover the Greenway Fall series has come to a close! We would like to thank everyone who joined us for our movie-night screening of The Lorax at the Mud Island Trailhead. Our Family Fishing Frenzy at Epping Lake was a resounding success on a beautiful fall morning this October. Kids and adults got outside, enjoying fishing and guided lake paddles with our river guides. The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency provided fishing gear as well as fishing how-to’s, and a flock of goats even made an appearance! Thanks to Voodoo Café for making these events extra sweet with delicious coffee and beignets.
The Discover the Greenway Fall Series culminated Friday, October 18th, with our first-ever Fall Fest, and it was a resounding success! Over 100 fall enthusiasts joined us for face painting, balloon art, a costume parade, and an Arboretum Stroll and Scavenger Hunt. Delicious barbeque and treats were provided by Smokey’s BBQ and Donut NV and they did not disappoint! The Wolf River Conservancy thanks Lansky Law Firm for sponsoring this wonderful event.
As our Fall Discover the Greenway series concludes, we would like to thank all participants and our members for their continued support. We look forward to seeing you at our 2025 Wolf River Restoration Series, beginning in January.
