On the Greenway: Phase 12A Progress in Raleigh

Exciting times continue to roll!  The Conservancy has started clearing the path for Phase 12A.2 of the Wolf River Greenway.  Upon completion, this 1.2-mile section of the Greenway will connect Elmore Rd to Covington Pike along the Wolf River.  Future travelers of this section will be rewarded with great views of scenic oxbows (old river runs) and riparian wetlands.  Right-of-way clearing for the trail also has a habitat benefit, removing invasive tree and shrub species along the way while avoiding significant hickory and oak trees.

Phase 12A.2 of Wolf River Greenway starts, connecting Elmore Rd to Covington Pike with scenic views and habitat benefits by removing invasive species.
